If you need to prepare multiple itineraries for GROUP TRAVEL, here are some tips and tricks to make the process a little more seamless.

*** CREATE SEPARATE ITINERARIES FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE IN A GROUP ***

IMPORTANT TIP # 1: When you copy a whole itinerary into another itinerary that may have a slightly different start date (Maybe they are the group organizer and arrive two days earlier), the itinerary start and end date should be the same when you first copy the items.

This ensures that all of the bookings (services) copy over on the correct date. {If you don't do this, the bookings (services) might end up without dates and go to the PRE or POST travel sections of the itinerary.}

The start date of the newly copied itinerary can be adjusted afterwards.

IMPORTANT TIP # 2: Put the client's last name in the itinerary title. For example, write the following...

ABBOTT: LONDON & PARIS

HUDSON: LONDON & PARIS

SHERMAN: LONDON & PARIS

Do you have travelers who have the same booking confirmations and itinerary content except for airline information? You can copy bookings from one itinerary to another.

How to Copy Bookings into a New or Existing Itinerary

Create an original/main itinerary that applies to everyone. Take that itinerary and copy components to create brand new itineraries.

MESSAGING

A traveler is able to send a group message to all travelers who are on the app. But how do your travelers communicate with people in their group when everyone has a separate itinerary?

- MESSAGING ITINERARY -

Create a simple itinerary just for messaging.

Add everyone as traveler and use that itinerary to communicate back and forth.

- GROUP UPDATES BOARD -

Create an OTHER/NOTES booking in your Original/Main Itinerary. Call it a Group Updates Board.
The group leader could post updates in the notes section of the booking.

Copy the OTHER/NOTES booking to each itinerary and link the booking.
The link will create a sync between group updates in the original itinerary and a groups update in the copied itineraries.
