How to use the TRAVELER SEARCH feature.

Traveler Search lets you find and match traveler profiles in two places within AXUS: the dedicated Travelers page, where you can look up profiles by name or browse alphabetically by last name; and the Itineraries filter, where you can enter a traveler’s name to surface all trips associated with that person. This article walks through both methods.

Method 1 — Searching from the Travelers Page

Use this method when you want to find or verify a specific traveler’s profile, check their App ID, or confirm their contact details.

Step 1 — Navigate to the Travelers Page

Click Travelers in the top navigation bar. The Search Travelers page opens, showing a search field at the top and an alphabetical A–Z letter index below.

Step 2 — Browse by Last Name Initial

If you know the first letter of the traveler’s last name, click that letter in the A–Z index. The list refreshes to show all traveler profiles whose last name begins with that letter. Each row displays the traveler’s full name (last name first), email address, and App ID.

Step 3 — Search by Name

To search more specifically, type a first name, last name, or partial name into the Traveler name field and click Search. The results update to show only matching profiles. A Clear button appears next to Search; click it to reset the results and return to the full list.

Step 4 — Review Results and Match the Profile

Each result row shows three pieces of identifying information:

  • Full name (format: Last name, First name)
  • Email address associated with the profile
  • App ID (format: Username, Passcode) — a unique identifier for the traveler’s AXUS account

Use the App ID to confirm you have the correct profile when multiple travelers share similar names.

Step 5 — Open the Profile

Click the traveler’s name to open their full profile, or use the gear icon (⚙) or ellipsis (…) menu on the right of any row to access additional actions such as editing or merging the profile.

Method 2 — Searching by Traveler from the Itineraries Page

Use this method when you want to find all itineraries linked to a particular traveler — for example, to check upcoming trips for a client or locate a specific booking.

Step 1 — Navigate to Itineraries

Click Itineraries in the top navigation bar. The Itineraries page opens with the Filter Itineraries by panel at the top.

Step 2 — Enter a Traveler Name

Click into the Traveler to search field. As you begin typing a name, an autocomplete dropdown appears with matching traveler names from your database. Click the correct name to select it, or finish typing and proceed.

Step 3 — Run the Search

Click the Search button. The itinerary list below the filter panel refreshes to show only trips associated with the selected traveler. Each itinerary card displays the trip name, the traveler’s name under “Itinerary for”, departure and return dates, and the Axus ID.

Step 4 — Clear the Filter

When you are finished, click the Clear button that appears next to the Country to search field to reset all filters and return to the full itinerary list.

Reminders:

  • Search is first-name aware. Typing a first name (e.g. “Fred” or “Finn”) returns all traveler profiles whose first name contains that string, grouped by last-name initial.
  • The letter index and search work together. You can click a letter to narrow the list first, then use the search field to refine further within that group.
  • App IDs are unique per profile. If two travelers share the same name, the App ID is the definitive way to distinguish between them.
  • The Itineraries traveler filter uses autocomplete. Only names already in your traveler database will appear as suggestions; you cannot search for a traveler who does not yet have a profile.
  • Default itinerary date range is 6 months. If you expect to see an itinerary but it does not appear after filtering by traveler, check the Dates filter at the top of the panel and widen the range if needed.
