Select a Language Option within Your Itinerary

LANGUAGE INTRODUCTION

AXUS allows you to share your itineraries in other languages. This feature launches with traveler-facing itinerary headings and categories in Spanish, Portuguese, and French languages while also providing enhanced support for future language customization.

Your AXUS titles, dates within the itinerary, field labels, and sections will be translated to the language you select.

Any text you insert or pull-over inside any field will remain the same. We don’t translate the text that you have contributed in sections like Notes or Description, etc. We want you to be in control to deliver an itinerary entirely in another language.

 

TRANSLATION OPTIONS

The language formats that we offer are English (default), Portuguese, Spanish, and French.

Inside the work interface (www.axustravelapp.com), when a different language is selected, you will see that most of the terminology inside an itinerary will be in that language but some words will remain in English.

Whether you change the language at the Organization level or under your Advisor Profile section (details to follow), it will only affect future itineraries. Current and archived itineraries will remain in English.

If an organization is set to a specific language, any new advisor/colleague invited to this organization will by default have their itineraries set in that language too. However, in their advisor profile, they can override this by selecting another language.

 

LANGUAGE SETTING AT DIFFERENT LEVELS

You can change the language setting at different levels. 

1. Organization level (only available to admins)
2. Advisor Profile level
3. Itinerary level

 

*** CHANGING THE LANGUAGE AT THE ORGANIZATION LEVEL ***

(This is for admins only.)

Go to ORGANIZATIONS in the top menu

Find a specific organization

Click the edit button across from the org

Select a language below

Click the SAVE ORGANIZATION button

 

*** CHANGING THE LANGUAGE AT THE ADVISOR PROFILE LEVEL ***

Go to your profile

Go to SETTINGS

Select the language

Click the SAVE button below

*** CHANGING THE LANGUAGE AT THE ITINERARY LEVEL ***

You can change any specific itinerary language inside the Edit Itinerary section. This will overrule the advisor or organization setting, but impact only that specific itinerary.

Find your specific itinerary on the main itineraries page.

Click on the GEAR icon inside the title box.

Select the language for your specific itinerary.

Choose from the following options: English, Spanish, French, or Portuguese.

Click the SAVE ITINERARY button.

Let's look at the Español option.

In the BOOKING SECTION, you'll see the Spanish language incorporated inside the platform.

You'll see Spanish (Español) on the Web View.

Expanded Language Customization Support

Additionally, AXUS has enabled a new way to expand the platform that enables the AXUS team to quickly build future itinerary languages to provide more tailored heading and category labels, thus bringing travel advisors a sleek way to deliver elegant itineraries that cater to more specialized travel services. The AXUS team continuously updates and enhances the platform to provide a broad range of features along with various custom solutions.
