MARKING YOURSELF AS STAFF TRAVELER WILL ONLY ALLOW FOR CURRENT AND FUTURE TRIPS TO BE VIEWED ON THE PHONE. ALL TRIPS WITH AN END DATE IN THE PAST WILL BE REMOVED FROM YOUR APP.
WHAT IS A STAFF TRAVELER
If you are a staff traveler, or you add another colleague as a staff traveler, this person will not see past itineraries on their mobile app. Your traveler profile will automatically be removed from the app once an itinerary becomes a past/archived trip.
This will help free space on your app for future itineraries.
Also, your traveler name will not appear in the "Itinerary For" field in the EDIT ITINERARY BOX.
WHY YOU SHOULD ADD YOURSELF AS A STAFF TRAVELER
We find that many advisors like to add themselves as travelers to itineraries for a quick and easy access to clients' trips on their phones. While this is helpful, often times, advisors' apps become bogged down with dozens and dozens of past trips. Eventually, this effects the performance of the app.
We created the STAFF TRAVELER feature to allow advisors to add themselves to itineraries, pushing them to their mobile devices. This time, once the trip has concluded, the itinerary will automatically be removed from an advisor's mobile device.
HOW TO ADD YOURSELF AS STAFF TRAVELER
If you'd like to see your travelers' itineraries on your app, add yourself as STAFF TRAVELER.
First, go to your name in the top right corner of your account on the Axus Website.
Go to the SETTINGS section and click the "Make myself a staff traveler" box.
Click the SAVE button.
If you already have a traveler profile, it will match the traveler profile email with your Axus profile email. If you do not have a traveler profile, the system will generate one for you once you select the "Make myself a staff traveler" option in your AXUS PROFILE.
Go to your specific itinerary where you want to add yourself as Staff Traveler.
Click the ADD MYSELF link in the "STAFF FOR MOBILE APP" section.
(You'll find this after "Invite Colleague or Travel Agents" and before the general "Add Travelers" section.)
Click on your traveler profile box.
You'll see that the "Staff Traveler" box is checked.
Add other colleagues to your itinerary as Staff Traveler.
Click on the ADD STAFF link.
If your colleague already has a traveler profile in the system, stay on the ASSIGN TAB and look for their name in the dropdown.
The colleague will need to be checked as Staff Traveler to appear here. If not, they will only show up in the Traveler section, not the Staff Traveler section.
If they do not have traveler profile, go to the CREATE tab.
Add their First Name, Last Name, and Email Address.
Click the SAVE & ADD STAFF TRAVELER button.
If they do not have Staff Traveler profile, you can create them as Staff Traveler. You can also see if they already have a regular Traveler profile. (Go in the Travelers tab on the top menu. Search by Surname.) Click inside their Traveler profile details, Check the Staff Traveler box.)
