Making Your Traveler Profile a Staff Traveler Profile

WHAT IS A STAFF TRAVELER

If you are a staff traveler, you will not see past itineraries on the mobile app. An itinerary will automatically be removed from the app once it becomes a past/archived trip.

This will help free space on the app for future itineraries.

Also, your traveler name will not appear in the "Itinerary For" field in the EDIT ITINERARY BOX.

 

WHY YOU SHOULD ADD YOURSELF AS A STAFF TRAVELER

AXUS stores the itinerary data directly on the phone. Often times, advisors will add themselves to their client's itineraries for easy reference on their own phone.  
At a certain point (every phone is different along with the size of each itinerary), this will slow down the performance of the app causing trips not to load or for messages not to pull through. This is due to the load of the past itineraries.
To prevent this from occurring, AXUS has introduced the "Staff Traveler" concept which suppresses any past itineraries assigned to your traveler profile from pulling through to your app. Instead, it allocates all of your device's bandwidth to pull up and store any current and future itineraries that you have assigned to yourself. 

 

EXPERIENCING ISSUES?

If you are experiencing an issue pulling up itineraries that you have assigned to yourself, simply mark your traveler profile as "Staff Traveler" as seen below.

Keep in mind that any past trips are still available to you inside your AXUS website login.

HOW TO ADD YOURSELF AS STAFF TRAVELER

Staff Traveler and the Regular Traveler profiles will appear in one section with Staff Traveler profiles in front. For Staff Traveler, look for the "person inside a circle" symbol.

If you still have a regular TRAVELER PROFILE:

Find your TRAVELER BOX on the title box of an itinerary

Check the STAFF TRAVELER box below in the pop up

Click the SAVE TRAVELER button

Adding your existing STAFF TRAVELER PROFILE to an itinerary:

Click +Add Travelers

Stay on the ASSIGN tab because your profile exists

Search for your name in the dropdown

Choose the name associated with your Staff Traveler profile

Click the ADD TRAVELER button

If you do not have a TRAVELER PROFILE set up yet:

Click +Add Travelers

Go to the CREATE tab

Add your first name, last name, email address

Check the STAFF TRAVELER box below in the pop up

Click the SAVE & ADD TRAVELER button

Since Staff Traveler and the Regular Traveler profiles are in the same section, STAFF TRAVELERS  will appear in the front. As a reminder, look for the "person inside a circle" symbol.

UPDATE: PAST TRIPS AS WEB VIEW LINKS

In a short time, the "Staff Traveler" will even allow you to access all of your past itineraries via the updated mobile WEB VIEW format. This data is not stored on your phone, keeping the bandwidth directed to your future itineraries.
