Creating/Assigning a Traveler
To add a traveler to an itinerary, click "Add Travelers" below the itinerary name.
- If the traveler is already in your Travelers database, start typing their name or email in the search bar under ASSIGN and select the correct profile from the list.
- If the traveler is not in your database, go to the Create tab and enter their name, email address, and (optionally) phone number.
Important: To ensure the traveler receives an AXUS invitation when you publish their itinerary, make sure their profile includes an email address.
Imported Travelers
When importing itineraries from Classic or ClientBase, traveler profiles are automatically attached. Be sure to check for duplicate profiles and confirm that each traveler has an email address.
Common Issues and Solutions
Traveler Duplicates
AXUS only prevents duplicate traveler profiles if all fields match exactly. For example, the system would allow both profiles below to be created because the last name is different:
To avoid duplicates, always check if a traveler already exists before creating a new profile.
If duplicates are found, go to the TRAVELERS section to:
- Locate the duplicate profiles.
- Choose one as the official traveler.
- Assign that profile to all itineraries.
- Delete any duplicate profiles.
- This ensures a clean and organized traveler database.
